A few days after the men’s team released their non-conference schedule, the Seton Hall Women’s Basketball team did the same thing. Just like the men’s, I waited the whole summer for the women’s schedule to be released. Last summer it came out in July so why it was released after the men’s, beats me.  Their 2024-25 team was honestly one of the best teams I got to cover at Seton Hall. I did three of their games as play-by-play with two coming in the non-conference slate. Covering head coach Tony Bozzella’s squad was a blast and it gave me some of my best moments as a young announcer, journalist and photographer.  While they got some much deserved attention and praise from alumni, basketball fans and more, the selection committee for the NCAA Tournament wasn’t impressed. Granted, when you get blown out by UConn twice, lose to Creighton three times and lose to Marquette at home, it’s tough to make it. Good news everyone, the Seton Hall Men’s Basketball team released their non-conference schedule for the 2025-2026 season. If you are a sicko like me, you have been waiting all summer for this to be released.  So I present to you the following non-conference schedule for the Pirates this season.  11/3 Saint Peter’s (Prudential Center) 11/7 Wagner (Walsh Gym) 11/10 Fairfield (Walsh Gym) 11/13 Monmouth (Prudential Center) 11/18 New Haven (Prudential Center) 11/24 NC State (Maui Invitational) 11/25 Boise State/USC (Maui Invitational) 11/26 TBD (Maui Invitational) 12/3 Central Connecticut State (Walsh Gym) 12/6 Kansas State (Manhattan, KS) 12/13 Rutgers (Prudential Center) Obviously, I have notes on the schedule and there are plenty of them to go around.  First, the Pirates will play three teams from the great basketball state of Connecticut in Fairfield, New Haven and Central Connecticut State.
