The Brooklyn Nets opened their preseason Saturday with a win vs a team from Israel called Hapoel Jerusalem. Notably, it’s the only game for the Nets this preseason that will take place at the Barclays Center. Now, when it comes to professional sports, I love the NBA and NHL before the NFL and the MLB. Admittedly, I will watch more preseason NFL action than my two favorite pro leagues. I can’t tell you why that is other than the fact that when preseason basketball and hockey starts, I’m glued to football. The one thing, though, the NBA pushes more than the NFL nowadays is playing games in different cities, states or countries in the preseason. States like Alabama will get a preseason game, while other games will take place in countries like China. The Nets will actually be playing the Phoenix Suns for two games in China this weekend as a matter of fact. This got me thinking. Considering the league likes to play so many neutral site games in the preseason, why not have the Nets play...
